This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of, and subject to, the Knowledge Futures Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms used here have the meanings given in the Terms. We may update this AUP as described in the Terms’ section on changes.
This AUP explains how you may and may not use the Services. You must follow it. If you do not, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or limit your access to the Services.
You agree not to use the Services, or allow anyone else to use them:
- To post or send content that is threatening, knowingly false, or unlawful, or to engage in or promote harassment, hate, violence, discrimination, or personal attacks;
- To impersonate any person or entity or create a false identity. You may use a pseudonym, including to parody others, but you may not pretend to actually be another person or organization, or act in a way that would cause confusion between you, a space you operate, other spaces, or any other person or organization;
- To harass, threaten, stalk, embarrass, or cause distress, unwanted attention, or discomfort to any user of the Services;
- To send spam, unsolicited messages, chain letters, advertisements, solicitations, or other unsolicited commercial communications, including communications describing investment opportunities;
- To post material that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other legal right of any person or organization;
- To knowingly upload or transmit viruses, worms, malware, ransomware, spyware, corrupted files, or any other malicious or destructive code;
- To knowingly disrupt other users’ experience of the Services;
- To access or use the Services in any manner that could damage or overburden our servers or any network connected to them, including by automated access that exceeds published rate limits or ignores our instructions for automated clients;
- To access, or attempt to access, accounts, data, or parts of the Services you are not authorized to access, or to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without our written permission;
- To interfere with anyone else’s use of the Services, or to circumvent any aspect of the Services, including any measure we use to block or limit your access.
Any use of the Services or their content other than as authorized by the Terms, this AUP, or a license that applies to the content is prohibited.
